This meditation goes straight to the source — using a hypnotic technique to pull up your existing confidence, give it shape and color, and literally shoot it into the moments in your past and future where you've needed it most. Specific, practical, and surprisingly powerful.

Make yourself comfortable and close your eyes. Take those three deep breaths and just let a little sigh out on the exhales. And as you take those three deep breaths and sighs, they signal to the body and mind that it's time to relax, to unwind, to just let stress, cares, and worries go for a time. And any sounds in the room or sounds outside the room are likely just the sounds of everyday life moving on around you. But should there be any sound that alerts you to an emergency or an urgency, then of course immediately you will open your eyes and take care of that, just like you would if you were sleeping at night. And so with that, take another deep breath and let yourself relax a little more. You might decide to turn your attention to the feeling of the air at the edges of your nose. Or maybe just notice your breath as it moves in and out of your chest. And as you begin to relax there, I'd like you to allow your mind to drift back in time to a time in which you felt really good, confident, on top of the world. Let that feeling come in and allow it, invite it to enter into this moment, that feeling of just knowing that, yeah, that was great, I'm doing this. And you can think of other times that you felt that feeling too, maybe in different situations, and kind of add them all together into one big bundle of feel-good confidence and notice how in that feeling your your shoulders, your back, your chin is held high. You probably even have a smile on your face, or at the very least, a smile on the inside, a feeling of confidence and strength, of excitement and groundedness all at the same time. Isn't that interesting? Now, what I'd like you to do is I'd like you to give this feeling, the color of your choice, whatever color pops into your mind, just notice the color. It can be a mix of colors, that's fine too. And notice if that color and that feeling of confidence, if it had a texture to it, what texture would it be? Is it like bubbles or velvet or a warm flow? Whatever it is, just go with it. Your feeling you can change it later if you want to. Now you've got a color of confidence, you have a feeling of confidence, a texture of confidence. And if confidence were a shape, what shape would it be? Would it be a heart? Would it be a big old boot giving you a kick in the booty? What would it be? A shape that just says to you, confidence, and turn that shape into the color and give it that texture. And imagine yourself putting that feeling inside of yourself wherever it feels like it needs to be or seems like it needs to be the most, picturing it, getting a sense of it. And for some of you who are very auditory, you may notice the sound that you hear that tells you that you're feeling really good and confident. That's right. And now that you have this feeling, take a deep breath and just kind of lock it into your body and mind for a moment. We're gonna need to access it again soon. But go ahead and store it someplace where it's safe, where you can recall it quickly. And now I'd like you to think of the area in your life that you would like to be more confident, to act in a more confident way. And picture a time, maybe this past week or this past month, when you were in that kind of situation. And see yourself in that situation from a third-person perspective. So you see the you who's in the moment, but you're watching from an outside perspective. And now what I'd like you to do is access that true feeling of confidence, the color, the texture, the the shape. And imagine yourself watching that other you who's having difficulty, but you are actually standing there, bringing in that confidence into yourself, and then kind of shoot that confidence into that other you. Yes, it can be like a comic book, that's fine, a big old laser beam shooting into that other you and and see that situation in the past change before your very eyes get a sense of how that would feel as you see or sense that other you now filling up on that confidence that you're shooting into them. Maybe you notice that their shoulders go back and their chin is a little higher. Maybe they widen their stance or take a deep breath. And as you change that memory, isn't that interesting that you can do that? Now I'd like you to think of another time in your past that was even more challenging when it came to this particular area in your life and your confidence. As you imagine that time in the past that was even more difficult, once again, you're watching the other you having the difficulty. And as you watch that other you, then rewind that moment and get in touch with that confident feeling, the texture, the color, the shape, and shoot it over into that person and just fill them up with it completely and see them kind of put their shoulders back and maybe a little smile on their faces. You change that memory quickly, easily, and powerfully. Now imagine yourself moving to the future, a time in the future where you can pretty much guess that this same situation that in the past bothered you would come up. And see yourself in that future situation. Once again, you're watching that other you. And shoot them that confidence. Maybe even just after that first moment of them not feeling what you want them to, send them that wave, that flow, that ray of confidence. And as you see them change before your very eyes, go over and step into them and feel it through and through. You are in that situation that in the past was a problem for you, but now you're in it with your shoulders a little more back, your chin held a little more high, you're you're breathing a little deeper into your belly, perhaps just breathe, just be. Smiling, perhaps even more easily. As you breathe in confidence and exhale self-doubt. As you choose love and set aside fear, you have one short life. Choosing love, choosing confidence, choosing joy is so much more interesting, so much more appealing and satisfying. As you breathe in confidence and set aside self-doubt, you might even feel yourself even now in your chair, moving your shoulders back a bit, and that's okay. Enjoy that feeling. When you open your eyes, bringing it with you, and using this tool anytime you want, choose, or need to allow you to more easily and powerfully become more and more confident in this in other areas of your life too. You choose your life for you. Preparing now to open your eyes by taking a deep cleansing breath in, holding it at the top, and then open your eyes wide awake.
